Hi! I’m Kristin with the Happy Thoughts :)

Happy Thoughts by Kristin started as free Happy Thoughts with a fiber arts business; Kristitchin. I sewed surf ponchos from upcycled towels, made knit baby mobiles and wall art, knit apparel for humans and animals and macramed lots and lots of plant hangers. Social anxiety increased with all the new human interaction; in order to find more self love, The Happy Thought Project was born.

While selling handmade things, I wrote down and shared handwritten affirmations I’d been writing on my mirrors for years. Each thought was telling me to love myself more, take care of myself, and believe in myself. They were mostly for me; it was a wonderful surprise to see how many of us need those thoughts too! I shared over 100,000+ Happy Thoughts in ~3 years; through sharing Happy Thoughts, Happy Thoughts by Kristin was born, with an affirmation deck, handmade cards, and stickers. After retailing and wholesaling across the country, Happy Thought events were born to bring community together. Happy Hangs, Installations and workshops became the next step to share how Happy Thoughts can impact us personally, within our small circles, and with the wider community.

I have a ten year background in education, I value self healing to a high extent, and I believe when we’re better we make the world better. I live in a van with my cats and am absorbing this freedom, innovation and sometimes notable chaos.

My dream is to educate, connect and offer service to this world in whatever way that shows up!
